Three devastating words. Survivor’s Outdoor Experience (SOE) was created to help those that have heard these words.
Individuals who have been diagnosed with cancer face difficult issues and challenges. By providing a program that includes educational presentations balanced with recreational therapy, SOE will assist participants in facing these difficult challenges.
The ability to fund this rewarding program also has challenges. Our goal is to be able to provide this program free of cost to those who are looking to SOE for support. But we can’t do it alone. SOE also relies on the help and generosity of others. With your support we will be able to provide an extensive program to assist participants in gaining strength, confidence, and a sense of the future.
SOE has assembled a broad range of presentations and activities to form a significant resource of information and inspiration. By working with various individuals and partnering with like-minded organizations in Port Angeles, and in the Pittsburgh area, SOE can make a significant difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.
Any contribution you can provide is appreciated and will be put towards our goal to provide participants with a rewarding and inspirational outdoor experience.
Sponsorship
Survivor’s Outdoor Experience hosts these healing programs for cancer survivors and their caregivers every year – at absolutely no cost for participants. This is possible through donations plus the fact that all of our professionals provide their services for free. Survivor’s Outdoor Experience is run strictly by volunteers – no one takes a salary, and most costs are out-of-pocket.
Because of all of these cost-saving measures, no participant is ever charged a fee. This is why we need your help. That said, we still need assistance.
