Everyone is Touched


Over 1.4 million Americans are expected to be diagnosed with cancer this year. Unfortunately it is anticipated that of those, 560,000 will die this year, more than 1,500 per day. At any given moment, there are 10,500,000 people living with cancer. Cancer touches everyone at some point, some time.

2011 Year In Review

Happy New Year!

I hope this finds you in good health and spirits! It is also my hope that 2012 brings a great deal of joy your way.

In starting the New Year, I’d like to take a brief look at a few of Survivor’s Outdoor Experience highlights of 2011.

Third Annual “Intro to Snowshoeing Clinic”

The Third Annual Intro to Snowshoeing Clinic is happening at Swain’s General Store on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 11 a.m

Followed the next day, Sunday, January 15th, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. by a Snowshoe Nature Walk with park personnel at Hurricane Ridge.

We will meet at the lodge.
